Smartwatch will tell if you are pregnant or not: Apple's new AI feature will provide 92% accurate results, catching infection in early stages

The AI feature analyzes the data of weeks and months. It will also be able to detect many types of diseases.
Now the smartwatch tied on your wrist will not only track fitness, but will also tell whether you are pregnant or not. In a recent study, a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature was created with the help of data collected from Apple Watch and iPhone, which can detect pregnancy with 92% accuracy. This feature can be seen in Apple's upcoming smartwatches. Apple has teamed up with the University of Southern California to create a special AI feature, which has been named Wearable Behavior Model (WBM). This feature uses behavioral data (i.e. data of your everyday activities) from Apple Watch and iPhone. This data is analyzed through machine learning and health conditions like pregnancy can be identified with 92% accuracy. The AI feature analyzes data for weeks and months instead of data in seconds, which can better understand health conditions.

More than 1.60 lakh people took part in the research In this study named 'Apple Heart and Movement Study' (AHMS), more than 1,60,000 people shared their data voluntarily. More than 25 billion hours of information was collected from these people's data, out of which data of 430 pregnancies of 385 people was used to train this feature. Researchers say that behavioral data is very effective in detecting health conditions. In particular, the combination of WBM and PPG data has proved to be amazing in pregnancy detection. Scientists involved in the study believe that this technology can make Apple Watch smarter for health monitoring in the future. How will technology change our lives? Pregnancy detection: If this feature comes in Apple Watch, then women will be able to get an early guess of their pregnancy sitting at home. This will be especially helpful for those who live away from medical facilities. Health Monitoring: This feature can catch infections, sleep problems and heart diseases quickly, which can start treatment on time. From consumer devices to medical devices: Apple Watch can no longer be just a fitness tracker, but a device that helps in medical diagnosis. Doctors' help: This technique can help doctors monitor the health of patients better. In 2024, the iWatch added a pregnancy tracking feature Apple has already given features such as period tracking and health monitoring in its watch. In 2024, the feature of pregnancy tracking was also added to it. Now with this new AI feature, it may be that the next Apple Watch will officially have a pregnancy detection feature. Currently, Apple's Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra 2 are available in the market.
